I blog with the same frequency as a Korean leaves the house after Starcraft II’s release….
Anyway, here are some things that have caught my interest:

(While searching for these pictues, I must laud Google’s new approach to Google Images. Very sleek, very efficient, aesthetically beautiful.)
PCMag ranked some of the best smartphones in the market right now for consumers (http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2367064,00.asp). While my bias against Apple may be the reason I disagree with the rankings for number 1, I guess that may be because I have different priorities than iPhone users. It may be just me, but I’d like to make calls from my cell phone. Just a personal opinion.
Last but not least, Facebook has decided to incorporate a Formspring like feature into its design (http://www.betanews.com/article/Facebook-Questions-launches-lets-you-poll-Facebooks-500-million-users/1280355338). For someone who uses both social networking sites, I am happy to see that Facebook is approaching the one-size-fits-all concept. I can only say that I’m surprised that it took Facebook this long to make this move.
My friend and I were having a discussion the other day. If a person is in love with someone whom they are unlikely to have a successful relationship with, should said person keep his/her feelings a secret, or is it better to lay out the cards on the table? I’d like to hear your responses, whether it be a Facebook comment or a tumblr reply. Please consider both plan of action from the point of view of both parties!
I hope this has made up for my inactivity…
I’ve been lax about posting on Tumblr. Here’s an update on how I am doing.
LEBRON IS GOING TO MY HOMETOWN!!! This picture makes me incredibly happy:
For my birthday, I wants a Lebron MIAMI JERSEY!!!
Fun fact: The word “forte” used in the following context is pronounced like “fort” rather than “for-tay”: “While he was extremely creative, painting was not his forte.” The word “forte” in this context derives from the French word “fort”, or strong, rather than “forte”, or loud, in Italian.
SPAIN WON!!!!!!!!!!! PUYOL REDEEMED HIS FIRST HALF MISS!!!!! I’m very happy for Spain, especially considering that this is their first time in the finals. Well done, congratulations!
I’m back from a weekend of golfing and fourth of July celebrations. To be honest, this was my first REAL American Independence Day celebration. I enjoyed a mile-long parade as well as an astounding display of fireworks from the people of Peachtree City. As for golfing, I am getting better by the day. There is something oddly satisfying with something as barbaric as hitting a ball with a stick…
With the finals for the world cup coming up, I have to say that I have been most impressed with the performance of all the European teams. To watch the Netherlands eliminate Brazil was nothing short of miraculous (Brazil got careless, to put it mildly). Hopefully, this can clear the path for Spain. Although Lionel Messi remains my favorite player, I can’t help but feel impressed by David Villa’s consistent performance in scoring, especially when it matters most.
Having been off the internet, I am surprised to see Google’s oversight in Youtube’s coding this weekend (see what happens when I’m gone only for a few days?). I must admit, I laughed at Google, despite my deepest respects for them. To see what happened, visit http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/technology/10506150.stm .
Guys, it’s time for Android, face it.
After watching Brazil’s humiliating defeat to the Netherlands, my brother and I replayed the game on pro evolution soccer 2010. The result? A 4-3 Netherlands victory, with an own goal by felipe melo.
This world cup is full of upsets (I’m upset). At least Argentina, Germany, and Spain are still holding strong (for now).
